Hi from Town and Country Calligraphy

We are a custom calligraphy and design studio in a little town in Texas that is “Keepin’ it Country” called Fairview (close to Allen and McKinney).  We are not that far from the big city of Dallas.  You can see where we are going with this. Town and Country Calligraphy.

A little bit about me:

I began my love of lettering in college where I studied Interior Design and fell in love with the Architectural Lettering that we used for drawings, designs and blue prints.  Many years later I began the study of calligraphy.

Calligraphy is a visual art that is related to writing.  It is the design and execution of lettering with a dip pen, broad tip instrument or brush. Let me help you design your own custom piece for your special event or home.

I am open to many project ideas and love to try new things with my designs. When I am not hand lettering I enjoy shopping antique fairs and collecting vintage mail boxes.  I have always had a love of mail and one of my favorite things is when I hear that little mail truck coming down the road, you never know when you might just get some mail box money or a Country Living Magazine. I also enjoy cooking, being a homemaker, being a wife, a Mom and watching HGTV and my guilty pleasure (cover your eyes) Bravo TV!  We live in Texas where it gets pretty hot, so in the summer I love swimming and going to the beach. I am never happier than in a crisp white t-shirt, skirt and flip flops- Ponytail swinging.
